The Luecks have combined creative forces, and the result is what you're about to view... I (Jessi) have had the opportunity to lead several high school girls small groups, and those girls are becoming women. Mallory was one of those girls who I had the pleasure to walk along side as her small group leader, and now she's going to be a bride! When she contacted us about doing to photos for her wedding, I nearly jumped out of my skin in excitement. She will be marrying Camden in June, and they couldn't be more perfectly matched. Watching their interactions has reminded me how sweet love really is. He adores her, challenges her, makes her laugh, and she brings joys into his life and makes him want to be a better man. Their passion for God, each other and for life is contagious. And they're both ridiculously good looking. We grabbed our cameras and went out one Saturday afternoon to do their engagement pictures, and met the next day with a video camera to capture them telling a bit of their love story. Then we put the two together, and created a totally killer love story video! We think you'll see why we're honored to be shooting their wedding and how perfect they really are together. So, enjoy the story of how two people fell in love!

Jen and Jeff have pure energy. A day with them is not unlike a day at the amusement park. You'll get some sun, you'll eat and drink well, and you'll be exhausted by the end of it. They are full of laughter, genuine grins, they are welcoming, and they treat you like family. Possibly more than anything, they want you to have a blast.
Their wedding felt the same way. From her first tears when she slipped on her dress to the raging dance party that closed out the night, it was full of life. Jen and Jeff are filled with a luminance that makes life worth living, it's a joy that is unexplainable. These are some highlights, enjoy the ride.

Ahh, Katie and Zach...
This is a very exciting moment for us, we are releasing our demo, our first taste of what a Livingroom Pictures brings to the wedding pallet. We hope that it's fresh, with a light garden crisp, something that doesn't leave an MSG afterbite. Something you'd take to a potluck. I can think of no better wedding to release then this: a hometown-church wedding with a roof-raising-rocker of a reception. From Zach playing Stevie Ray Vaughan and Steve Earle to Katie's precious smile; and from the operatic cigar mafia meeting to the moments on the lawn, they are wed.
This couple knows love.
Katie and Zach are as down to earth as they come, creative, handy, musical, they are a pleasure to be around and know how to have a good time. Come on in, have a seat.

CHIC 2009 'The HUB'

At the CHIC convention, there was an area set up for kids to paint and play and listen to music and chat and swim, really anything that sounds fun was at the HUB. It was virtually a week long block party. Here is a quick glimpse of the HUB throughout the week.

We had the pleasure to join these two in Santa Clara, CA a few weeks ago, and it was nothing short of amazing. Vadym is from Ukraine and none of his immediate family could come, but they joined via macbook over skype. They got to travel around the reception and sit in the front row to watch the ceremony. I was amazing to experience not only a wedding of cultures (with different traditions... like bride kidnapping and drinking from a shoe), but a wedding of two who keep the value of family in such a high place. There was a marvelous bond, and these two are precious.

CHIC setup

We had the pleasure of helping out with a youth convention through the Covenant Church in Knoxville, TN. Covenant High in Christ, CHIC, we were part of a group who helped set up and clean up activities for 4,300 high schoolers from around the country. It was wonderful. Imagine a space with live music, any sport you've dreamt of, art projects, swimming, moonwalks, good food... and that's just the afternoon. Here is the first of a number of videos to highlight this amazing time.

Kelly and Brandon, an amazing couple. Hanging out with them was like walking through an enchanted forest with a well aquatinted tour guide. It is warm and damp and everything is new. There is love and brilliance in the air, there is color in the mist. They are so comfortable and generous and everything they do is in care of the other. They are a perfect couple, and it was a relaxing pleasure to have Livingroom Pictures debut through their love.
The wedding was also like a fairy-tale, Kelly looked like the beautiful cinderella, it was all red and roses and quaintly romantic. Union Station, Valentines Day, dancing the night away.
